DAN LEHR, Owner and president; Kiva Conditioning Club

Dan Lehr Dan Lehr has enjoyed over 20 years of experience and success in the fitness industry as an owner, developer, and hands-on, multiple facilities manager. He has been a high level athlete his entire life, with exceptional credentials and certifications in the fields of athletics and fitness. Dan was a sponsored college athlete and an Asics sponsored athlete after college from 1988 to 1991. He is still retained today by Asics for product development and continues to be recruited for participation in various organized running races across the country.

Dan is a long-time resident and keen researcher and observer of the Pacific Northwest mind-set and fitness industry. He is an analytical thinker and a sociable, fitness enthusiast who thrives on accurately identifying and anticipating the desires and needs of both his customers and his staff and then delivering beyond those expectations. As an active, on-site club user and manager, Dan understands the differing needs of the members, management, and staff. The winning result is an upbeat, friendly and stable club with loyal, long term customers and high quality, caring employees who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the people of the local community with whom they come into contact everyday.

Dan holds formal degrees in Industrial Engineering and Kinesiology from the University of Washington and is a graduate of the Cooper Institute, which is credited with founding the “aerobics” movement and the now scientifically accepted practice of preventative medicine through increased wellness from exercise and fitness.

When not at the club you will find Dan spending time with his two children, John and Lauren, playing with his two dogs Shelby and Riley, running long distances, kayaking, boating in the San Juan Islands, coaching soccer, or working with his hands by making furniture or doing home improvements.
